Islands Rewards Programme Terms
1. Overview
Island Rewards (also referred to as Two Islands’ Rewards Programme) is a customer rewards programme (“Programme”) managed and conducted by Two Islands Co. NZ Limited (“Two Islands”, “we” or “our”) for the benefit of its customers (“Customer” or “you”). Joining the Programme is automatic upon the creation of an Account by providing personal information on twoislandsco.com. By opting into the Programme you agree to receive marketing and transactional communication from Two Islands via mail, email, SMS and other channels, including points balance, voucher redemption, special member promotions, offers and more.
Two Islands will extend certain perks and privileges as described in more detail herein, and additional offers may be extended from time to time. Two Islands may alter, limit, modify or terminate the Programme, the Programme structure, any other feature of the Programme or these Terms and Conditions in its sole and absolute discretion at any time and in any manner without notice. Your continued participation in the Programme will confirm your acceptance of such changes.
By joining Island Rewards you agree to these Island Rewards Terms and Conditions (“Reward Terms”). Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to these Terms. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more details regarding the use of your personal information and opt-out procedures.
2. Participation and Membership
- To join Island Rewards, you need to create an account on twoislandsco.com
- If you are under the age of 18 years, you must have parental/guardian approval to opt into the Programme, and further, your parent/guardian must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions.
- It is free to join and there are no fees to have an Island Rewards Account
- You may cancel your Island Rewards Account at any time by emailing our Customer Service team at hello@twoislandsco.com. If you cancel your Account, your accrued Points will no longer be available.
- Your account is attached to your unique email address and points are not transferable and may not be combined among Members.
As a member of the Island Rewards Programme, you can accumulate and redeem loyalty rewards points, on an individual basis. Island Rewards is designed to reward Two Islands customers with exclusive perks, free gifts and points you can redeem for discounts. New and existing loyalty programme members should refer to the below for information regarding “tier level earnings” and “how to use their earned points and the conditions of use”. To earn points for your purchases online, you must use the email address associated with your account.
At the commencement of the Programme on 13th February 2024 your loyalty tier level will be determined based on your total spend at Two Islands between the 1st of July 2023 and 31st January 2024. After this initial backdating of points, your loyalty tier level will be determined by your spend at Two Islands over the previous 12 months. You earn loyalty points on each purchase you make, including any subscription orders. Points will be automatically added to your account and there are opportunities to earn bonus points, details on more ways to earn can be found here.
Loyalty points will be valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue, they will expire after a twelve (12) month period, after the expiry date you won’t be able to access and redeem your points.
With respect to “Tier level” and “Points” earned, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Points or vouchers earned as part of the Programme are not redeemable as cash or monetary value.
- Points have no purpose or use except in exchange for benefits or discounts (if any) offered by Two Islands.
- Island Rewards points earning excludes returns, refunds, delivery charges and the purchase of gift cards.
- Individuals receiving a free product to represent the Two Islands brand are not eligible to receive points for gifted products.
- Redemption offers may be time-limited or available only in limited quantities.
- Your Points cannot be redeemed by any person or entity other than Two Islands, or sold or otherwise transferred, or redeemed for cash.
- Upon termination of your registration or closing your loyalty account for any reason, all Points are lost regardless of how they were acquired by you.
- Points are not valid unless earned in strict compliance with the requirements as established and intended by Two Islands, and you shall not attempt to earn Points by any means (including without limitation, by using any script, bot or other automated means) that only simulates compliance with the applicable requirements.
- Two Island’s good faith determination of the amount of points available to you hereunder shall be final and binding.
As a part of the Programme, you can redeem your Island Rewards Points for vouchers and free products through our online store. Please note that dollar voucher rewards can be redeemed on subscription orders via the subscription customer portal. However, the free product cannot be redeemed with subscription orders and needs to be placed as a one-time transaction and. Customer must add two products to cart, including a Refill product to redeem it for free. Reward points cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or discounts. Once you redeem your points for a voucher, the voucher is valid for six (6) months.
Birthday discount codes will be rewarded on the day of members’ birthday, given their birthday has been updated in their loyalty account thirty (30) days prior to their actual birthday. If their birthday is not updated thirty (30) days before their birthday, members will receive their birthday discount thirty (30) days after they've signed up.
You can also earn rewards by successfully Referring a Friend to purchase from twoislandsco.com. A Referral is defined as a purchase made by a customer (the ‘referred customer’) through exclusively using another customer’s (the ‘referring customer’) unique referral link. If a referred customer does not use this unique link to make a purchase, this purchase will not count as a Referral. For every unique qualifying purchase made by a customer because of a referral, the referring customer will get a $20 voucher as part of the Programme and the referred customer will also receive $20 off their first purchase.
For a Referral to be successful it must:
- Be a new customer to two Islandsco.com as matched on an email address
- Include at least one product valued at $48 or more in the order.
Referrals are subject to verification, Two Islands may withhold the offer for a referral where it deems a customer has referred a customer under fraudulent or suspicious circumstances and/or violates these Terms and Conditions.
Any rewards, gifts, benefits or offers communicated as part of the Programme may include specific offer terms and conditions, including expiry dates and redemption conditions.
All Island Rewards gifts, benefits or offers are subject to availability. Two Islands is not liable for any rewards, gifts, benefits or offers not being available for any reason.
4. Island Rewards Promotions
At times Two Islands may offer a points multiplier event where you are able to earn additional points on your purchases. You will be notified about these offers via your email address. Additional points are only awarded to customers who are a part of Two Islands’ Island Rewards Programme and who purchase products through our online store during the promotion hours stated.
5. Change of Details
If you change your details please notify Two Islands via your Account or contact us at hello@twoislandsco.com. Two Islands is not responsible for any failure by you to notify us of your change of details, which may result in you not obtaining the benefit of Island Rewards communications and rewards, gifts or benefits.
6. Suspension and/or Termination
Two Islands may immediately suspend or terminate your participation in the Programme without further notice if you have breached these Reward Terms. Where your right to participate in the Programme is suspended or terminated, any benefits, rewards and rights and Island Rewards status you may have at that time under the Programme shall thereby be suspended or terminated (as the case may be). The Customer’s participation in the Programme may be terminated by either Two Islands or the Customer by providing the other party with at least thirty (30) days written notice.
7. Warranties, Liability and Taxes
Our Terms of Service cover the warranties, liability and any taxes in relation to the Programme.
8. General Information
Two Islands expressly reserves the right to change the Programme elements (including, but not limited to, the Island Rewards Tier levels, expiry dates or the way in which Island Rewards gifts, rewards, benefits or offers are earned and redeemed) or cease running the Island Rewards Programme at any time (without any liability to the Customer or any third party). Two Islands will use reasonable endeavours to give advance notice to all Customers of any material changes in writing or by otherwise posting it on our website or other channels. If you do not agree to these changes, you may terminate your participation in the Programme by providing Two Islands with at least thirty (30) days written notice after the date you received written notice of the changes or the changes were posted on our website or other social media channels.
A notice or communication shall be deemed to be given by Two Islands to the Customer if it is sent to the Customer’s email address listed in the Customer’s Account or by otherwise posted on our website or other social media channels.
9. Governing Law
These Reward Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
